Simon Meakins has served as Director Advanced Air Mobility for the EAMEA region at Bristow Group since 2023, where he is responsible for developing and launching AAM operations to match the business’s strategic priorities.
Prior to joining Bristow, Meakins held several senior leadership positions in the helicopter industry, such as serving as Vice President for VVIP fleet integration in Saudi Arabia and holding positions as an AOC Accountable Manager and Business Unit Director for a major UK operator. Meakins began his career in the UK Royal Air Force, where he served as an officer, helicopter pilot, instructor and flight commander for 16 years. He is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society and actively contributes to UK eVTOL safety and industry groups.
